Bike enthusiasts attend the Midwest’s largest motorcycle meet

Bike enthusiasts attend the Midwest's largest motorcycle meetThe Suburban Collection Showplace in Michigan will hold The Giant Motorcycle Swap Meet, which will display the Midwest’s largest collection of bikes, on February 11 from 11 AM to 4 PM.

Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts will attend the show to purchase, sell and swap bikes, parts, accessories and stories, according to My Fox Detroit.

Almost one out of every four bikers in the nation lives in Michigan or one of its four border states, making it the perfect place to host the event. Several bikers will come to support the local industry and economy by showcasing and selling Michigan-made bikes.

Many motorcycle builders will be displaying their one-of-a-kind bikes, such as Tony Lamantia of Tony’s Chrome Customs. His bike includes an airbag system that allows the motorcycle to kneel to the ground and support itself without the help of a kickstand. It also has remote control actuators in the saddlebag lids that open and close by pressing a button.

The Giant Motorcycle Swap Meet will display Lambantia’s bike along with 11 new motorcycles, reported the news source. Attendees can also view street, dirt, choppers and many more at the event.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 through 12 and parking is $5.
